The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is now: 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline

Callers who want to reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline will now use the three-digit code 988. For those who live in an area where 988 is currently being used, the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline can be reached by dialing 988. However, 988 will be available to everyone across the United States starting on July 16, 2022.
